Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Aries is known as the warrior sign. These people throw themselves into action because it is second nature to them. They will antagonize just to get a rise out of a loved one, but they hide a deep fear – they fear to lose the battle but not as much as losing a friend or loved one. When they lose someone they love, Aries people disappear, unable to cope with the mess that is left.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Anyone born under this sign likes comfort, prefer the simple pleasures of life: good food, good company and nice things around them. And their deep fear is not being able to afford all the good things in life. Driven perhaps by a shallow need for pretty, materialistic things, the thought of financial instability and debt makes Taurus' skin crawl.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
With every strength comes a shadow and although Geminis are known to be vibrant, happy souls, they have a fear of making decisions. Indecisiveness is a common conflict for many born under this sign. They often change their minds, coming across as people who don’t mind change and even welcome it, but deep down, they have a fear of settling on one choice for fear of missing on something big or better.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Cancer is also a star sign that loves comfort but more in a sense of an emotionally safe comfort zone than materialistic things. You could describe Cancerians as with claustrophobia, a fear of being trapped in a place or situation from which escape is difficult. As a result, they isolate themselves in their comfort zone or places that sometimes are not the best place to be.
Leo (July 23 – Aug 22)
The biggest fear of this sign is the fear of being ignored. Leos are gregarious, the stars of the show, people that thrive on being noticed. They're happy as long as they are noticed by people and as long as they're the center of attention, but imagine the horror of being ignored! They will do anything (well, almost anything…) to stop this from happening.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Perfection is, on the light side, a fantastic powerful force for change but when it becomes overbearing, it leads to Virgo’s biggest fear: failure. From disorganization to imperfection, any hint of negativity can lead to a downward spiral that can further lead to loss of control.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Passionate, loving and intelligent, Libras are incurable romantics but the fear of spending their lives alone sits deep within them. They make good romantic partners, but they are not very good at being single. They fear that no one will be there to love or help them and this often leads to what seems like irrational behaviors, such as proposing to the first person they meet.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Dark and sensitive souls, Scorpios keep much of their emotional selves under wraps. And they fear intimacy mainly because they are afraid of losing who they are in a relationship. As much as they fear being engulfed by feelings, they also fear being abandoned, which can lead to all kinds of balance issues.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Natural explorers, these souls fear being enclosed in small, confined places and not being able to expand or explore the world around them. They have a need to roam, both physically and emotionally.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Much like Virgo, these people also have a fear of failure. Business minded and workaholics, they are spurred on by the fear of failing. They desire to succeed and have a fear of not making it but they are not irresponsible, treading on everyone to get there. They are believers in slow-and-steady wins the race.
Aquarius (January 21 - February 18)
For the intelligent Aquarius, being pigeon-holed in a certain intellectual group or zone is their worse fear. These people want to be more than a number. They are happy in their own minds and they believe in their capabilities, preferring to go their own way – and that means everything from work to marriage. Sometimes, an Aquarius is best left to themselves.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Living in a fantasy world, Pisceans show wisdom beyond their years, but it is not matched with maturity. Their greatest fear is having to take responsibility. They have unending creativity but they just don’t want to take on the endless responsibilities that come with living in the real world.
